We’re thrilled to announce that starting in April, Sean Wilson, an esteemed photographer based in Cape Town, will be offering a range of unique photographic experiences and tours that you won’t want to miss!
About Sean Wilson: Sean is passionate about traditional analogue photographic processes and invites you to immerse yourself in the art of photography through various sessions from his studio and darkroom in Observatory, as well as on location.
What’s on Offer:
- Portrait Sessions: Capture stunning images with personalized photography tailored to you.
- Workshops: Learn the ins and outs of traditional photographic techniques, guided by a seasoned expert.
- Photography Tours: Explore beautiful locations while practicing your skills in a hands-on environment.
Explore Traditional Techniques – Sean specializes in a variety of fascinating processes:
- Wet Plate Collodion (in studio only)
- Dry Plate (available in studio and on location)
- Black and White Film: Shoot in stunning black and white, and enjoy hand processing in the darkroom.
- Black and White Darkroom Printing
- Camera Obscura: Experience his entire studio transformed into a giant camera!
- Pinhole Cameras (available in studio and on location)
- Paper Negatives (using Large Format Cameras in studio and on location)
- Polaroids (using Large Format Cameras in studio and on location)
Additionally, framed and unframed photographic works will be available for purchase in the studio, allowing you to take a piece of artistry home with you!
